Message from ETG’s Group Managing Director

As a customer of the Engineering Technology Group (ETG), I would like to take this opportunity to firstly, thank you for your continued business and secondly, update you on our exciting journey and what opportunities this presents to your business.

Since our last communication, we have adopted both ISO: 9001 and ISO: 14001. We have implemented the global standards and integrated a Quality & Environmental Management System (QEMS) to build upon our already robust business framework whilst demonstrating our commitment and compliance to environmental and quality standards.

Adding to this customer commitment, we have now launched our new business division for fabrication. The new Fabrication Division will be headed up by Andrew Smith Hughes who joins ETG with more than a decade of turnkey solution expertise. The new Fabrication Division will incorporate a range of technologies that include everything from tube bending, flatbed laser cutting and cold roll forming to name a few. Our first agreement with the VLB Group will provide a sales and support network, bringing state-of-the-art tube and plate-forming technology to the UK and Ireland.

Our most recent announcement, further strengthens this division, as we welcome the Durma brand to ETG. Manufactured in Europe, the Durma brand is home to the world’s most extensive and advanced range of sheet metal technology. This ranges from servo, hydraulic and electric press brakes, laser and fiber laser cutting, bending centres, plasma cutting, guillotine shears, tube bending, punch presses, automated loading/unloading technology for lights-out production and much more.
