The Engineering Technology Group has announced a further major stage in its expansion as the UK’s leading independent machine tool supplier with proposals to open a new purpose built ‘Permanent Trade Show’ at its Southam headquarters.

For the first time under one roof, ETG will present a cross section of machine tools from its leading brands – Chiron, Nakamura Tome, Stama, Handtmann, Bridgeport, Hardinge, Quaser – supported by tool and workholding products from ETG Workholding and Hyfore as well as displays and expertise from ETG’s dedicated Finance experts and its Engineering Solutions team.

Construction of the facility is under way and on June 10th, 11th and 12th 2015 ETG is hosting an unveiling of its permanent exhibition of machine tools – a working exhibit that will feature machines for every requirement from entry level to full turn-key.

Customers will be able to see live demonstrations and discuss with ETG experts everything they need to know about the right machine for an application along with all the support infrastructure that is such a key part of ETG’s unique offer.

“We have wanted to create an exhibition and demonstration area for some time,” explains Group Sales and Marketing Director Martin Doyle. “Now, with our PDI, spares and workholding operations relocated to dedicated new premises, we have the space at Southam to create the much needed demonstration and exhibition facility.”

“In a single visit to the ‘Permanent Trade Show’ customers can discuss, view and even try machines before committing to purchase as well as becoming acquainted with the full range of ETG support services,” he adds.
