ETG appoint new RSM for North West

Mike Shanley, a highly experienced mechanical and production engineer, has joined the Southam based Engineering Technology Group (ETG) as its Regional Sales Manager covering the North West of England.

Mike (55) is a time served apprentice qualifying via 4 years training with Royal Ordnance and also has an ONC / HNC Mechanical and Production Engineering qualification.

Prior to joining ETG he has extensive industry experience having worked with Sumitomo Hard Metal, Iscar Carbide Tooling, DMG / Mori Seiki and Kennametal

With ETG he will be representing its high end partner portfolio – Chiron, Nakamura-Tome, Stama, Hardinge Bridgeport, Quaser, Handtmann and most recently Halter Automation – backed by his extensive industry knowledge and expertise in metal cutting technologies.

In his spare time Mike enjoys football, cycling travelling and jive dancing.
